ManpowerGroup Plating Operator / Plating Technician in Fremont, California
Our client, a leading organization in the electronics manufacturing industry, is seeking a Plating Operator / Plating Technician to join their team. As a Plating Operator / Plating Technician, you will be part of the PCB manufacturing support team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to safety and quality standards, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Plating Operator / Plating Technician
Location: Fremont, CA
Pay Range: $26–$30/hr (DOE)
Shift: Graveyard or Weekend (6-hour shifts)
What's the Job?
Operate copper, tin, and other PCB plating lines according to established process specifications
Monitor chemical baths, temperatures, current densities, and solution levels to ensure optimal process conditions
Perform routine line adjustments and basic troubleshooting to maintain production flow
Conduct thickness measurements and visual inspections to verify product quality standards
Document process data, readings, and production results accurately for compliance and quality control
What's Needed?
2+ years of experience operating plating lines in a PCB or metal finishing environment
Working knowledge of chemical processes and quality control standards
Ability to read and follow work instructions and process documentation
Comfortable working off-hours (graveyard or weekend shifts)
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
