Job Title: Electrical Technician Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team in product development. This role involves conducting functional testing of mechanical components to ensure compatibility, fitment, and safety. The position requires hands-on testing both indoors and outdoors, involving various environmental conditions.
Responsibilities
Conduct functional testing of mechanical components for compatibility and safety.
Validate drawings and designs for functionality and safety.
Collect data and document reports during testing phases.
Perform high-level troubleshooting diagnostics to identify failures.
Handle physical components, including PCBA, inverters, and cable assembly.
Conduct accelerated test data collection and analysis.
Coordinate with other technicians to ensure smooth testing operations.
Set up and commission test products, ensuring safety and accuracy.
Essential Skills
5+ years of experience as an electrical technician in solar, EV, or PCBA.
Experience with high voltage systems and cable assembly.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Familiarity with Confluence and JIRA for testing and tracking progress.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with solar inverters is advantageous.
General labor and construction skills.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fremont, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr.
