Job Description:

Basic Function
The Electrical Engineering position will perform an assortment of complex engineering duties, such as develop power, analog, and digital circuits in the Technology Development group to support new product development in the field of electromechanical systems. This position will also actively participate in the Product Development Process and perform in a team environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Concept and prototype development, including component selection and evaluation.
Analog circuit design including power supply design (switching and linear) as well as circuits with discrete semiconductors.
Digital circuit design using microprocessors and associated peripheral devices in embedded systems.
Use computer aided design tools such as schematic capture, PCB layout, and simulation to achieve circuit design goals.
Direct printed circuit board layout personnel.
Electrical system troubleshooting.
Printed Circuit Board rework
Cost analysis and estimates for engineering efforts.
Cost analysis of final product cost.
Engineering testing.
Coordination and technical guidance of technicians.
Design and testing for agency approvals.
Provide work leadership and training to lower level professional and technical staf
Maintain regular attendance and able to get along in a team environment.
Support Company continuous improvement initiative.
Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering required or a technical diploma with a least 3 years of related experience
2+ years of related work experience
Knowledge in PC applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint as well as schematic capture, simulation and associated engineering tools required.

Compensation Information:
$90,000 - $110,000
