Job Title: Cleanroom Production Operator
Job Description
As a Cleanroom Production Operator, you will engage in general labor tasks that include loading and unloading various types of cleaning equipment, assembling components, inspecting items, and conducting alcohol wiping, swabbing, nitrogen drying, leak testing, function and flow testing, as well as bagging and packaging. You will demonstrate proficiency in operating air and electric drivers, LPC testing equipment, bag sealers, and leak check devices, and operate ultrasonic wash systems. This role requires flexibility to train and work in different production areas based on the production schedule, and you may work in the cleanroom, clean line, or assembly areas as needed. Adherence to proper use of PPE, such as coveralls, boots, hairnets, face shields, and gloves, is essential.
Responsibilities
Perform general labor tasks including loading, unloading, assembly, and inspection.
Operate air and electric drivers, LPC testing equipment, bag sealers, and leak check devices.
Operate ultrasonic wash systems.
Train and work in various production areas based on the production schedule.
Work in the cleanroom, clean line, or assembly areas as required.
Maintain proper use of required PPE, including coveralls, boots, hairnets, face shields, and gloves.
Identify deviations that can potentially interrupt productivity.
Perform a sequence of operations maintaining quality and quantity standards.
Collaborate as a team member to uphold departmental standards and goals.
Maintain clean and organized work areas and follow all safety and cleanroom requirements.
Essential Skills
High School diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience working in a cleanroom environment is a plus.
Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Inspection of parts, multitasking, packaging, computer data entry.
Familiarity with semiconductor, deburring, and polishing parts/metal/plastic.
Proficiency in leak checks and working with epoxy.
Ability to lift up to 15 lbs. and stand for 8 hours.
Knowledge of 5S standards, production, cleanroom practices, and general labor.
Mechanically inclined with strong manual dexterity and visual acuity.
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and safety.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organization and time management skills.
Ability to handle fragile products and perform repetitive tasks.

Work Environment
This position involves working in a cleanroom environment where employees wear a cleanroom bunny suit. Proper safety and cleanroom protocols must be followed at all times.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Fremont, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
