Job Title: Assembly Operator
Job Description
Manufacture, assemble, and process medical device components and products. Utilize light tools and equipment according to instructions and specifications from drawings and procedures.
Responsibilities
Inspect metal parts under a magnifying glass or microscope for 4-5 hours per day, with two people inspecting for 8 hours daily.
Perform shape setting by using mandrel fixtures to place parts on fixtures.
Handle chemicals and operate equipment that involves chemical handling.
Essential Skills
Experience in production and assembly in a manufacturing back ground.
Familiarity with microscope use and data entry.
Fluency in speaking and reading English.
Comfortable working on a production floor with light gowning requirements.
Ability to lift 10-15 lbs repetitively and operate machinery in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in using hand tools and working on an assembly line.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to utilize measurement tools and devices as required by the process.
Good manual dexterity.

Work Environment
Work in a structured manufacturing environment with three main areas: a clean room for assembly and sub-assembly operations, a laser area with machines that cut and shape small nitinol components, and a materials area for manufacturing with raw materials. The role is a day shift position from 5:30 am to 2:00 pm.

This is a Contract position based out of Fremont, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
