Job Title: 2nd Shift Multi-Hole Machine Operator
Job Description
Imagine operating a powerful machine that transforms metal wire by pulling it through several small holes, making it thinner, smoother, and the precise size required. As a Multi-Hole Machine Operator, you will start up the machine, ensure correct metal feeding, monitor operations, measure output, and address minor issues while prioritizing safety.
Responsibilities
Start up the machine and ensure proper metal feeding.
Monitor machine operations to maintain smooth running.
Measure metal to verify it meets size specifications.
Troubleshoot minor issues such as adjusting settings or clearing jams.
Adhere to safety protocols due to the powerful nature of the machines.
Essential Skills
General production and labor experience.
Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
Metal fabrication and cutting skills.
Experience with wire feed and wire pulling.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
Strong attention to detail.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience.
Experience in assembly, forklift operation, hand tools, construction, and loading.
Accountability, teamwork, integrity, respect, and excellence.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Freeport, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $22.50/hr.
