We have an exciting opportunity for you to join Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center, which is part of the nation's leading provider of healthcare services, HCA Healthcare.
As the Patient Access Manager, you will work onsite at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center and support the patient access function of a 100+ bed facility. You will be responsible for assisting the Patient Access Director in daily operations of all patient access functions and serve as the liaison between the Shared Service Center (SSC) and the facility. You will integrate the department’s services with the hospital’s primary functions, develop/implement policies and procedures that guide or support service, assess and improve department performance, and ensure orientation and continuing education of departmental staff.
As a Patient Access leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of 10+ patient registration team members who perform patient registration functions and will ensure quality assurance for all areas of registration. The Patient Access Manager will follow-up on patient concerns regarding financial obligations and payment expectations. You are responsible for the HR function of the department by interviewing and hiring patient access staff, preparing the work schedules of the department(s) & counseling and mentoring staff.
A qualified Patient Access Manager will have a Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field and have a minimum of three years’ of leadership experience in healthcare, hospitality, banking, event planning, retail or other relatable field.
