Adecco US, Inc. Bilingual Spanish HR Support Specialist in Frederick, Maryland

The role requires onsite work five days per week , with travel between the Rockville, MD and Frederick, MD locations . Depending on operational needs you may travel to either Frederick or Rockville more times than the other location. Hybrid or remote work is not available .

Summary

The HR Specialist manages day-to-day transactional activities within the Human Resources function, ensuring employee records, compliance documentation, and routine HR processes are maintained accurately and efficiently.

This role is highly detail-oriented and serves as the operational backbone of HR by handling documentation, system administration, and processes that support the full employee lifecycle.

Salary :$55,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year

Key Responsibilities :

  • Maintain employee records in HRIS and personnel files, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal and organizational requirements.

  • Process new hire paperwork, employee status changes, transfers, promotions, and terminations.

  • Track and process leave of absence requests (FMLA, ADA, personal leaves) and ensure proper documentation is maintained.

  • Administer benefits enrollments, changes, and terminations in coordination with benefit providers.

  • Complete and audit I-9 forms and other compliance-related documentation.

  • Manage data entry, reporting, and reconciliations related to payroll and benefits in partnership with Finance/Payroll.

  • Prepare routine HR reports, including headcount, turnover, attendance, and PTO balances and requests.

  • Support internal, external, and government audits by providing required HR documentation.

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees with basic HR questions related to forms, policies, and processes.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred (equivalent HR or administrative experience accepted)

  • 2–4 years of HR administrative or HR operations experience.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle confidential information appropriately.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS/payroll systems (experience with systems such as ADP Workforce Now is a plus).

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and timeliness.

  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, particularly in a plant or manufacturing environment.
