Rural Carrier Associate (RCA)

Job Description:
- Assist rural mail carriers with mail and package delivery
- Deliver and collect packages along established rural routes
- Provide a variety of postal services to customers along the route
- Additional opportunities may be available for more work hours if desired
Position Details:
- Part-time, non-career position (may lead to full-time career opportunity)
- Hours will vary and include holidays and weekends
- No guarantee of hours
Requirements:
- 18 years of age at time of appointmentÂ
- United States citizen, permanent resident, or citizen of American Samoa/other U.S. territory
- Recent employment history
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Meet residency requirements for background checks
- Safe driving record
- Must pass required postal exam
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
- Must provide a vehicle suitable for delivery
- Must be registered with Selective Service (if applicable)
