Power Solutions Group Inc Electrical Project Manager in Fraser, Michigan
The Construction Electrical Project Manager is responsible for the full lifecycle management of assigned electrical and mission-critical construction projects, from pre-construction through closeout. This role ensures successful installation, performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction while maintaining strict adherence to safety standards, quality expectations, projected man-hours, company policies, and all applicable codes and regulatory requirements.
The Project Manager plans, organizes, staffs, and oversees multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring work is executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to a high standard of workmanship. Responsibilities include project layout, scheduling materials, tools, equipment, manpower, and information to align with scope and construction schedules. The role requires active participation in project meetings, jobsite visits, and regular communication with internal teams, clients, engineers, general contractors, and other stakeholders, while reporting directly to the Operations Manager.
This position provides leadership and oversight to general superintendents, field supervisors, crew leaders, journeypersons, apprentices, and support personnel, ensuring coordination, accountability, and performance across all phases of construction. The Project Manager reviews drawings, plans, specifications, and change orders; directs construction activities; resolves field issues; manages submittals and material procurement; and ensures accurate documentation and successful project closeout.
In addition to project execution, the Project Manager supports business development efforts by maintaining strong client relationships, identifying new opportunities, and representing the company professionally in the field. Success in this role requires strong electrical construction knowledge, proven leadership ability, excellent communication and organizational skills, technological proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple projects while consistently delivering quality, safety, and financial performance.
