Quality Technician Responsibilities: - Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections on machined and fabricated parts - Use precision measuring tools including Calipers, Micrometers, Gauges and other inspection equipment - Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and GD&T - Document inspection results and maintain quality records - Identify non-conforming parts and assist with corrective actions - Work closely with production, welding, and machining teams to resolve quality issues - Ensure compliance with company quality standards and procedures ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: - Previous experience in a machine shop, metal fabrication, or manufacturing environment - Strong ability to read blueprints and technical drawings - Hands-on experience using calipers, micrometers and precision measuring tools - Understanding of tolerances and inspection processes - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong attention to detail - Experience with weldments, structural steel or heavy fabrication preferred - Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) preferred - Prior experience in a job shop environment preferred ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: E-Mail a Rsum: racine@qpsemployment.com Apply Online: https://jobs.qpsemployment.com/jobs/804901 This position is listed by a private employment agency.
