HOW YOU WILL MAKE HISTORY HERE... In this role, you will strengthen the financial performance of the manufacturing facility by delivering clear, accurate, and actionable insights into plant costs. You will become a trusted partner to operations leadership-leveraging financial tools, standard costing expertise, and strong controls knowledge to drive cost transparency, influence decision-making, and identify opportunities for productivity and continuous improvement. You will help ensure the integrity of plant financials (costs, assets, and liabilities) while developing innovative strategies that enhance profitability and elevate operational excellence. WHAT YOU WILL DO... Core Responsibilities Ensure accuracy ofstandard costs, including bills of materials, item costs, labor routings, labor rates, and overhead assignments. Report cost variances in a clear and actionable format for plant supervisors and managers; explain weekly and monthly production variances and participate in corrective action planning. Analyze and model the financial impact ofproduct design changes, raw materials, overhead shifts, and process changes. Monitor manufacturing efficiency variances and determine corrective actions while ensuring proper classification of items and adherence to GAAP. Support cost estimation, tracking, and reporting fornew product developmentandcontract manufacturing partners. Assist in implementing and maintainingcost accounting methods and procedures.
