Quality Technician

Contract: 10+ Months

Pay Rate: $25/hour on W2

Work Locations: NYX HQ – 2201 East El Segundo Blvd, El Segundo, CA 90245, USA

Job Summary

The Quality Technician provides technical support to:

  • Production Units

  • External Vendors

  • Quality Laboratories

The role ensures adherence to Quality Systems and regulatory requirements , supporting consistent product quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support manufacturing and production teams on quality-related processes

  • Work with external vendors to ensure quality compliance

  • Assist quality labs in testing and validation activities

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and quality systems

  • Perform testing and inspection of:

  • Packaging components

  • Bulk materials

  • Finished goods

  • Conduct statistical sampling and analysis

  • Maintain proper documentation and audit readiness

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent manufacturing experience with strong quality focus)

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Experience with FDA and ISO compliance

  • Knowledge of:

  • SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)

  • Auditing processes

  • Documentation standards

  • Experience in statistical sampling and testing methods

  • Color matching experience (preferred)

  • Background in beauty/cosmetics industry (strong plus)
