Skilled Workforce is offering several a U.S. Department of Labor Registered Pre-Apprenticeship Programs this year. The National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) based training builds skills through a nationally standardized, competency-based curriculum designed to prepare individuals for real-world careers in construction and skilled trades.
Construction Craft Laborer: Pre-Apprenticeship and Apprenticeship Program Skilled Workforce College is looking for motivated individuals to join our intensive, hands-on program designed to turn beginners into skilled professionals.
Construction Craft Laborers are the backbone of every job sitemastering everything from concrete work and site preparation to operating high-tech equipment. If youre a hard worker with a "get-it-done" attitude, well provide the tools, the training, and the paycheck.
Program Overview This is a dual-phase program designed to bridge the gap between "no experience" and "job-ready."
Duration: Pre-Apprenticeship - 4 to 5 Weeks); Apprenticeship - 2 Years - Full-time
Total Training: Pre-Apprenticeship - 94 hours; Apprenticeship - 320 Hours of intensive instruction.
Location: Skilled Workforce College Campus and Local Project Sites.

Pre-Apprenticeship - stipend possible; Starting Pay (Full Apprenticeship) - $17/hour
Completion Pay - (Full Apprenticeship Status): $25/hour
What Youll Learn Safety First: OSHA-10 certification and site safety protocols.
Tools of the Trade: Mastering pneumatic tools, earth compactors, and surveying equipment.
Specialized Skills: Concrete placement, masonry, blueprint reading, and environmental remediation.
Project Management: Understanding the lifecycle of a construction site.
