Assembly Worker – Production Operator

? 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM (Monday–Friday)
Kelly Services is currently seeking motivated and detail-oriented Assembly Workers / Production Operators to join our team in Franklin, TN . This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and take pride in producing high-quality work.
Position Overview
The Production Operator is responsible for performing production line work within the assembly, molding, and/or press departments. This includes assembling products, operating machinery, and preparing finished goods for shipment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform production tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity
Assemble products on the production line with speed and accuracy to meet daily targets
Operate machinery and inspect parts to ensure quality and timely production flow
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Stock production areas with necessary materials and components
Inspect components and finished products to ensure quality standards are met
Test finished products for compliance
Perform minor repairs as needed
Report any production or quality issues to the line lead or supervisor
Complete additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
Good communication skills
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Previous manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Frequent use of hands for handling, assembling, and reaching
Ability to communicate effectively (talk/hear)
Work Environment
- Manufacturing setting with exposure to dust, odors, and noise
