Job Title: HR Generalist

Location: On-site – Franklin, Ohio 45005

Pay Rate: $31–$36 per hour

Schedule: Full-time

Job Summary

The HR Generalist supports day-to-day human resources operations and serves as a key point of contact for employees and leadership. This role is responsible for employee relations, onboarding, compliance support, HR administration, and assisting with talent and performance processes while ensuring adherence to policies and employment laws.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as a primary HR contact for employees regarding policies, procedures, and general HR inquiries

Support employee relations matters, including investigations, documentation, and resolution support

Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, including orientation and system access

Assist with recruitment activities such as job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination

Maintain accurate employee records and HR files in compliance with recordkeeping requirements

Support performance management processes, including evaluations and corrective actions

Administer benefits support activities such as enrollments, changes, and employee questions

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policies

Assist with training coordination and employee development initiatives

Prepare reports, track HR metrics, and support audits as needed

Partner with site leadership to address workforce and engagement needs

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred

2+ years of experience in an HR Generalist or related HR role

Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices

Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills

Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion

Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, on-site environment

Preferred Qualifications

HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP)

Experience supporting hourly and salaried workforces

Manufacturing, distribution, or operations site experience

Work Environment

On-site role supporting a dynamic workforce

Collaboration with leadership and cross-functional teams

Regular interaction with employees at all levels

Pay Details: $31.00 to $35.00 per hour
