Farm Bureau Insurance has been serving North Carolina residents for more than 60 years. In order to qualify for this position you must reside in Macon County. Please keep in mind that this is a career opportunity, not a low level job. Career seekers with Farm Bureau don't have to be proficient in insurance knowledge as we will teach you however, you do need to possess a passion and understanding of the need for the insurance products we offer.
Insurance Sales Representative Requirements:
- Must be able to pass a basic credit and background check.
- Must obtain insurance licenses, PandC, Life and Medicare Supplement.
- Oral and written communication skills as appropriate to this position.
- Must possess a strong work ethic, a desire to excel along with a desire to help people.
- Score at certain levels on Wonderlic Test as well as personality profile.
Insurance Sales Representative Responsibilities:
- Meet new business production goals and objectives.
- Generate new business via telephone, networking and other lead sources.
- Develop insurance proposals, deliver sales presentations and close sales.
- Develop and build ongoing networking relationships.
- Service existing clients.
