Responsibilities
- Perform repairs and maintenance as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy
- Diagnose and repair automotive systems, including engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
- Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to identify issues
- Communicate clearly with Service Advisors to explain necessary repairs and provide accurate time estimates
- Execute warranty repairs following manufacturer and dealership guidelines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Stay current with Ford certifications, tools, and technical bulletins
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ford Certification preferred, but not required
- 2+ years of automotive service technician experience (Ford dealership experience preferred)
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills, including electrical and engine repair
- Proficiency with factory diagnostic tools and repair software
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Positive attitude, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
