Assembler / Westboro MA 19-20/hr Job Description: Contractor will be working in different areas and completing set of manufacturing steps. In Westborough they are building larger robotic equipment and will be trained in a number of different assembly functions. The role is performing pretty basic mechanical assembly responsibilities do some wiring, add some zip ties, maybe screw down some bolts and then you slide it to the next station and repeat the process. ? ***Requires standing 8 hours outside of the breaks. Standing is required for most of the day with occasional sitting. ? ***Candidate will need to provide their own Steel toed shoes/ Hard composite toed ? ***Mechanical skills (not to change a transmission but someone who has used small tools in production/ building/ creating something) ? *** Candidates should be comfortable with somewhat of repetitive steps. REQUIRED SKILLS ? Ability to lift 50 pounds ? Read and follow English language instructions and safety instruction and protocols - this is very important ? Basic computer skills ( logging on and off computer, remembering passwords and being able to navigate through work instructions on a computer) ? Able to work safely in structured manufacturing environments ? Has good attitude and aptitudes to learn new things. Disqualifiers / red flags: ? Someone who needs to sit at a desk this is not the right job.
