Becton, Dickinson and Company seeks a Sr. Solution Architect that will be responsible for designing and developing Java/Spring based applications, adhering to architectural best practices and industry standards. Collaborating with team members to understand the system’s functional and non-functional requirements; provides guidance based on familiarity with Spring/Spring Boot features and requirements. Creating technical specifications and providing guidance to development teams. Works with different vendors and partners for the successful delivery of projects. Analyzing system bottlenecks and implementing performance optimization strategies. Ensuring security measures are integrated into the application architecture. Reviewing and evaluating existing Java / Spring frameworks and recommending enhancements. Leading the development team by providing technical guidance, mentoring, and support. Conducting code reviews to identify potential issues and maintain code quality standards. Maintain knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure continuous improvement. 100% telecommuting role. Reports to company headquarters in Franklin Lakes, NJ. Can work remotely or telecommute.Position requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained.
