Job Title: Production Worker - 700 Building
Job Description
Join our team as a Production Worker responsible for the cradle-to-grave manufacturing of magnet wire products. This role involves material handling, machine operating, and troubleshooting basic machine issues. You will ensure quality production by setting machines according to specifications and documenting in-process updates. Our automated machines handle most of the work, allowing you to focus on quality control and safe operation.
Responsibilities
Handle raw materials to prepare for production.
Load production lines with raw wire and ensure smooth operation.
Set machines according to specification sheets.
Operate machines and troubleshoot basic issues.
Read HMI touchscreen to monitor production quality.
Collect enamel samples and document process updates.
Use overhead cranes to move finished wire spools.
Operate forklifts to store products in the warehouse.
Essential Skills
General labor experience in production or manufacturing.
Machine operation and troubleshooting skills.
Quality inspection and attention to detail.
Forklift certification or willingness to train.
Ability to read and understand work orders in English.
Additional Skills And Qualifications
Mechanical aptitude and experience with hand tools.
Strong tenure at previous employers.
Ability to work 12-hour shifts and perform physically demanding tasks.
Comfort with heights and ability to navigate grated stairs.

Work Environment
The new 700 building resembles a clean room with a focus on attention to detail and cleanliness. It is temperature-controlled, supporting automotive industry standards. Employees work on a 2/2/3 schedule with shifts from 8 AM to 8 PM or 8 PM to 8 AM. This environment requires self-motivation and precision.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Franklin, IN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.11 - $22.36/hr.
