Responsibilities
Conduct quality tests on magnet wire for compliance with specifications, design proposals, R&D, and product performance.
Complete testing on QA and experimental runs, action requests, and sample orders.
Assist in preparing magnet wire enamels, thinners, lubricants, and other materials.
Inspect and analyze raw materials and chemical products to ensure adherence to specifications.
Perform complex tests requiring meticulous attention to detail.
Use detailed instructions to perform testing, enter data, and prepare reports or charts.
Operate chemical testing equipment and measuring instruments.
Assist technicians, engineers, and management in problem-solving and corrective actions.
Utilize computer programs and quality systems, contributing significantly to the quality management system.
Follow procedures and guidelines to achieve quality, safety, and production goals.
Maintain accurate records and data for company reports.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers to maintain positive working relationships.
Essential Skills to Our Client
High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree in scientific field preferred.
1+ years of GMP experience.
1+ years of experience in quality control lab technician roles.
Proficiency in basic laboratory techniques.
Ability to work a 1st shift, 12-hour schedule (8am - 8pm).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong working knowledge of computers.
Understanding of Quality Systems (ISO/QS/TS).
High attention to detail, organizational skills, and above-average mechanical skills.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Franklin, IN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.40 - $21.11/hr.
