Job Description
In this role as a Project Manager - Semiconductor Solutions (m/f/diverse) you will be responsible for a specific product and related project(s) within the scope of the Semiconductor Solutions (SCS) organization. Your responsibilities also Responsible for the overall planning, execution and delivery of a specific SCS ASIC product that meet/ exceed (internal & external) customer requirements within agreed budget, quality levels and timing milestones. Manages and organizes resources, budgets and all project related activities to achieve project and business objectives and to ensure customer satisfaction.
Project Definition and Planning
Definition of project goals (financial, scheduling, and quality objectives)
Selection of project core team members in conjunction with line management
Establishment of adequate project organization (meeting structure, information/knowledge exchange, documentation, archiving)
Setup of an initial project plan in accordance with Automotive processes (phases, deliverables, milestones/Q-Gates, etc.)
Planning of MLC/PLC milestones and ensurance of compliance with Automotive processes
Protection of project data confidentiality
Project Steering and Control
Tracking of project progress and definition of corrective measures in case of deviations from the plan
Execution of formal and informal project reviews and follow-up on deviation resolution and critical status
Control of released project budget and project resources according to the approved project plan
Reporting of project status using valid tools and process sets
Execution of professional change management
Assignment of work packages to project team members
Promotion of a supportive culture of cooperation and teamwork within the project
Performance of risk assessment and implementation control of risk mitigation measures
Ensurance of project profitability in accordance with defined targets
Escalation of issues when necessary
Fostering of close cooperation with relevant stakeholders (Automotive/SCS/BA/Segment) to ensure project success
Product Management
Responsibility for the PLC from G10 to G90 for the specific product
Ensurance of on-time, qualitative, and quantitative production and delivery of the specific SCS product to the customer at the right cost, including responsibility for new product launch activities, serial production, and improvement initiatives
Coordination of product-specific activities to fulfill production and supply plans
Steering of cost reduction activities to achieve financial goals for the specific product
Utilization of intelligence frameworks to optimize volume planning and inventory management for the specific product
Driving of activities to mitigate risks and improve operational performance related to the specific product
Qualifications
Academic Degree in Engineering or Business Administration or comparable qualification
Several years of experience in Semiconductor and/ or Automotive industry, cross-functional experience
Understanding semiconductor technology, fabrication processes and device functionality
Familiarity with electrical engineering principles, circuit design, and industry-standard
Ability to create detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets
Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies
Managing change requests effectively to keep the project on track
Profound knowledge of automotive process landscape and expert in Project Management
Leading multinational project teams
Intercultural experience
