Job Summary and Qualifications
Whatyou will do in this role:
You will perform procedures in multiple modalities, which mayinclude:MRI,CTand Diagnostic X-ray. It is expected thatMulti-Modalitystaff work in the modality assigned as volume and patient load dictates to ensure quality and safe care of patients.
Youare responsible forperforming a variety of complex specialized technical tasksutilizingradiation toassistwith the detection of anatomical abnormalities.
You have working knowledge of the equipment used andoperatesequipment to produce quality images in the most efficient and safe manner.
You have knowledge of Radiation Safety principles andappliesALARA (As LowAsReasonably Achievable) concepts to every patient, every time.
What qualifications you will need:
Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology(ARRT)
Kentucky Radiation Operators Certificate
Advanced Certification in (CT) or (MR) (preferred). Certification in MRI/CTrequiredat hire (preferred) or obtained within 6 months of employment date or end of cross training period
A minimum of one year of X-Ray and advanced modality experience (preferred)
