Soha Hospitality Solutions Inc Front Desk in Frankenmuth, Michigan
Soha Hospitality Solutions, Inc dba North Star Hotel is seeking four (4) Front Desk personnel to work on their property at E 9681, M-28 East, Wetmore, MI 49895. The position will be full-time and seasonal during the dates of April 1, 2026 -- November 15, 2026.
The role of the Front Desk agent is to serve as the guest's first point of contact and manage all aspects of their accommodations. The personnel in this position is responsible for registering guests, accommodating their requests, providing room information including rates and amenities, financial paperwork, and communicating with other departments on the status of guest rooms. Front Desk agents may be required to upsell guest rooms and promote hotel services. Hotel experience is preferred. Should be able to stand and move for long periods of time. Must be able to speak and understand clear English, handle adversity with ease and diffuse issues that may arise with professionalism.
Employees will work Mon-Sun, average of 40 hrs/wk. Must be able to work up to 8 hours per shift within 8:00 am to 10:00 pm any day of the week, days off rotate, shifts vary. This job requires continuous movement, regularly bending, lifting, pushing. No minimum education is required.
The wage is $15.60 per hour. All deductions will be made from paychecks that are required by law. No other deductions will be made unless voluntarily agreed upon. Overtime may be available at $23.40. Wages will be paid bi-weekly, and the employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due.
On-the-job training is provided. Soha Hospitality Solutions, Inc dba North Star Hotel provides workers with all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job at no charge. Daily transportation to and from the worksite is not provided.

The employer will reimburse the H-2B worker in the first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distance involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts.
In accordance with applicable Michigan state law, Earned Sick Time Act 338, the employer will provide earned sick time to employees. Employees will earn 1 hour of paid sick time per 30 hours worked, starting from their job start date, and may use it after 120 days. The amount of paid sick leave provided may vary depending on the size of the business.
The employer will provide housing at a cost of $80 per week. This is optional and is not a condition of employment. The deduction will be made from the employee's check if agreed upon. Alternatively, the employer will assist the workers to find suitable housing within walking distance of the worksite.
