Bee Sweet Citrus Talent and Development Manager in Fowler, California
Reports To: Director of Human Resources
Location: Fowler, CA (In-Person)
Position Summary
Bee Sweet Citrus, Inc. is seeking a Talent & Development Manager to lead company‑wide recruiting efforts and drive employee training and development initiatives. This role is responsible for attracting top talent, strengthening onboarding and training programs, and building development pathways that support operational excellence, leadership growth, and long‑term employee retention.
The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands‑on , comfortable working in a fast‑paced, seasonal, and operations‑focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Lead full‑cycle recruiting for salaried and hourly positions across operations, corporate, and field locations
Partner with leadership understanding workforce needs, seasonal demands, and long‑term staffing plans
Develop and execute recruiting strategies, including job postings, sourcing, interviewing, and selection
Track and analyze recruiting metrics (time‑to‑fill, turnover, quality of hire)
Design, implement, and continuously improve onboarding programs for new hires
Develop training programs focused on:
Leadership and supervisor development
Operational excellence and process improvement
Employee skill development and career progression
Partner with department leaders to identify skill gaps and training needs
Coordinate and facilitate in‑person and virtual training sessions
Collaborate with HR leadership on initiatives that improve employee engagement and retention
Support performance management processes through training and development resources
Promote a culture of learning, accountability, and continuous improvement
Work closely with HR team members to ensure recruiting and training practices align with company policies and labor regulations
Maintain accurate recruiting and training documentation
Support audits, reporting, and compliance requirements related to hiring and training
Required Skills/Abilities
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field
3-5 years of experience in recruiting, talent development, or HR leadership
Experience managing full‑cycle recruiting across multiple roles and departments
Proven ability to design and deliver training programs
Strong communication, organization, and relationship‑building skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, operational environment
Experience
Experience in agriculture, food production, manufacturing, or seasonal workforce environments
Bilingual Required (English/Spanish)
Knowledge of California labor laws and compliance
Pay Offered/Benefits
$80,000 - $100,000 a year
