ManpowerGroup Test Engineering Technician in Foster City, California

Our client, a leader in advanced hardware manufacturing, is seeking a Test Technician to join their team. As a Test Technician, you will be part of the Manufacturing Operations department supporting hardware testing and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, collaborative spirit, and eagerness to learn, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Test Technician

Location: Foster City, CA

Pay Range: $40/h + Benefits

What's the Job?

  • Set up, execute, and debug tests on sensors and compute hardware to ensure high performance and reliability.

  • Collaborate with engineering and R&D teams during prototype testing and design review meetings.

  • Work closely with engineers to optimize manufacturability of products under development.

  • Perform final testing and assembly of components and assemblies, including failure analysis and repairs.

  • Create detailed failure analysis reports and review test instructions for continuous improvement.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's Degree in electrical, electronics, mechanical technology, or equivalent with 2 to 4 years of experience.

  • Experience reading electrical schematics and engineering drawings.

  • Proficiency with EE lab equipment such as digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.

  • Experience assembling and repairing wiring harnesses.

  • Ability to follow drawings, written, and verbal instructions accurately.
