ManpowerGroup Engineering Technician in Foster City, California

Our client, an industry leader in automotive electronic hardware development, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Engineering Technician to join their dynamic team. As an Engineering Technician, you will be an integral part of the Operations Department supporting innovative product development and manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm, innovation, and a proactive approach, aligning seamlessly with our commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.

Job Title: Engineering Technician

Location: Foster City, CA

Pay Range: $40-45/h + Benefits

What's the Job?

  • Assist engineers during the development of new electronic hardware products to optimize manufacturing processes.

  • Accurately assemble and test a variety of electronic hardware from prototypes to short-run production.

  • Support rapid prototyping and low-volume hardware assembly to facilitate quick design iterations.

  • Perform quality inspections and ensure work adheres to established standards and procedures.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, following all safety protocols.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred) with 4 to 6 years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly or related fields.

  • Technical training such as soldering, trade school, or on-the-job training preferred.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings accurately.

  • Proficiency with standard assembly tools including cutters, crimpers, soldering irons, pin insertion/removal tools, and torque tools.

  • Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as soldering stations, power supplies, signal generators, and oscilloscopes.
