ManpowerGroup CAD Engineer in Foster City, California
Our client, a leading innovator in the automotive and robotics industry, is seeking a CAD Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a CAD Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the design and development of complex electronic and mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Pay Range: $60-68/h + Benefits
What's the Job?
Design and develop 3D wire harness models using CATIA V5/V6, ensuring quality, compliance, and manufacturability.
Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings and documentation for wire harness assemblies, routing, and installation.
Design electronic enclosures and electrical boxes, including mounting and interface features, suitable for various environments.
Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret schematics and sketches, converting them into accurate, manufacturable 3D harness designs.
Support prototype builds, testing, troubleshooting of harness assemblies and enclosures, and interface with suppliers for production feasibility.
What's Needed?
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
2 to 4 years of experience in wire harness design and 3D CAD modeling.
Proficiency in CATIA V5/V6 software.
Experience designing electrical/electronic boxes, including layout and component packaging.
Familiarity with electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and connector systems.
