This job is a member of the Maintenance Control Team.
Responsible for providing oversight, guidance, and direction ensuring our Technical Operations maintenance organizations have clear priorities and support required to facilitate the return to service of out of service aircraft and or assigned workload.
What you'll do
Expedites the return to service of AA Wide Body aircraft in a safe and efficient manner.
Identifies International Flagship operational risk and collaborates to minimize same.:
Working with Materials Management to expedite parts (AA, other airline, air taxi or surface transport)
Field trip support
Special permit flights
Functional check flights (FCF/HCF)
Repositioning flights
Ensures other Integrated Operations Control Center (IOCC) workgroups have accurate information concerning the status of all OTS aircraft;
Ensures maintenance actions that enhance fleet reliability
Conduct coordination calls to facilitate cross-departmental collaboration
Facilitates maintenance ferry and reposition flights as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- 5 years of related experience
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
Maintenance Control Technician experience
Maintenance Operations Control experience
Aircraft Maintenance Supervisory experience
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
FAA aircraft airframe and Engine Power Plant (A&P) certification
Excellent time management skills
Ability to generate and support pragmatic solutions while maintaining high quality standards
Level-headed in a high paced, ever-changing environment
Strong analytical skills with high degree of detail orientation
