General Production Worker
Job Description
The General Production Worker supports day-to-day operations in a fast-paced manufacturing facility by handling a wide variety of non-forklift tasks. This role focuses on packing cardboard materials, stacking and wrapping products, palletizing, and preparing orders for shipment while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.
Responsibilities
Stack product safely and efficiently to support production and shipping activities.
Wrap and palletize finished goods to ensure they are secure and ready for transport.
Build custom skids as needed to meet specific product and customer requirements.
Use a manual pallet jack to move and pull materials throughout the warehouse.
Pack cardboard materials into boxes accurately and consistently for shipment.
Prepare packed boxes and pallets for shipping, including labeling and staging.
Perform general labor tasks across the plant as needed, excluding forklift operation.
Assist with basic inspection of materials and products to identify visible defects.
Work with industrial and manufacturing equipment while following safety guidelines.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficient production flow.
Follow all workplace safety procedures and report any hazards or issues promptly.
Sustain a high level of productivity while working on your feet and lifting throughout the shift.
Essential Skills
Previous general labor experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
Ability to perform heavy lifting throughout the shift in a physically demanding role.
Comfort working on your feet all day in a fast-paced setting.
Experience with production, packaging, or packing tasks.
Ability to use a manual pallet jack to move materials safely.
Strong work ethic and self-motivation to stay productive with minimal supervision.
Reliability and consistent attendance to meet production and shipping schedules.
Interest in long-term employment and growing with the company.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience working with industrial or manufacturing equipment.
Experience in general production, machine operation, or warehouse labor.
Familiarity with wrapping, palletizing, and building skids.
Ability to work effectively in a very fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Willingness to take on a variety of tasks and assist where needed in the plant.

Work Environment
This role is based in a non-climate-controlled warehouse and manufacturing facility. You work in a very fast-paced environment where you are on your feet all day and perform frequent heavy lifting. The position involves hands-on work with packaging materials, pallets, and industrial equipment, and requires adherence to all safety practices while working in an active production setting.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Worth, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
