This job is a member of the Customer Planning Team within the Airport Operations Division
In conjunction with station management and other operating groups, this position is responsible for coordinating all phases of domestic and/ or international projects, including new and seasonal station openings, new aircraft types entering stations for the first time, terminal moves, small scale back office refresh projects and other ad hoc projects as directed. Also responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time and on budget. Project management includes requirements definition, business case development, status reporting and implementation.
What you'll do
Coordinates business partner transitions
Plans, directs and coordinates activities for multiple projects in a fast paced environment
Works with station leadership to coordinate all aspects of Business Partner performance projects
Supports station leadership by communicating and ensuring project timelines and budgets are met
Conducts project meetings, completes project tracking / analysis and reports issues and risks to leadership and business owners
Coordinates closely with various departments including Procurement, Legal, HR, Corporate Real Estate, Government Affairs, Tech Ops, Security, In-Flight, IT and Finance
Anticipates problems, identifies issues and drives resolution to challenges that may impact project completion or timeline
Conducts airport site visits to assess conditions, infrastructure and customer journey
Assist in preparation of business case justifications for resources required to complete projects
Coordinates with Finance to accrue for expected project costs
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/training
3 years of airline experience
Familiarity with airport operations
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
Project Management certification
Experience managing Business Partner performance
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills as well as excellent organizational abilities
Ability to build consensus among workgroups on necessary changes
Strong work ethic that independently drives results
Knowledge of corporate policies and operational processes and procedures
Ability to work well within a team environment
An interest in or passion for continuous improvement
