The 401(k) Programs Analyst will report to the Senior Manager, 401(k) Programs and work closely in the design, administration, communication, compliance, and reporting of the company’s U.S. and international DC retirement plans and policies. This role will actively interface with Payroll, Legal, People Business Partners, union representatives, consultants, and vendors. This position will also play a key part in the plans’ compliance from an administration and documentation perspective.

Ensure compliance of retirement plans per the plan documents, collective bargaining agreements, ERISA, and applicable provisions of the Internal Revenue Code and/or DOL requirements
Conducts data integrity audits and reconciliations to ensure data accuracy and reliability
Maintenance of plan materials, including plan document updates, summary plan descriptions, loan procedures, and vendor plan administration manual
Work closely with union representatives through attending union meetings, presenting at union events, and/or ad hoc union requests
Partner with internal and external communications teams in the strategy and delivery of team member communications and required compliance mailings
Manage international DC pension programs, including working with People Business Partners, brokers, international legal
Support annual employee benefit plan audits and nondiscrimination testing
Maintains monthly plan statistics for leadership by pulling data from the payroll systems and partnering with vendors and various internal departments, as needed
Conduct research and prepare materials for ERISA claims
Support in-town and out-of-town roadshows and education events
Identify areas for process improvements
Create and/or update process documents, as needed
Participate in special projects, as needed

Minimum Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience required
3 years minimum relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience
Prior experience with defined contribution administration, in a corporate headquarters environment a plus
Previous work experience in financial analysis, accounting and/or auditing highly desired
Prior SAP and SuccessFactors experience a plus
Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
Skills, Licenses, and Certifications
Requires candidate to manage multiple projects, prioritize work and deliver high-quality
Independently able to research complex issues using strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to recommend resolutions
Must possess exceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain the highest standards of integrity and confidentiality
Capable of effectively prioritizing and multi-tasking while maintaining flexibility in a fast-paced, union environment
Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with internal customers, team members, management, and external vendors
Demonstrated presentation and public speaking skills
Meets strict deadlines as provided by regulation or by the Senior Manager
