Assistant Project Manager (Contract‑to‑Hire)

Key Responsibilities
Support Project Managers with daily project coordination and reporting
Track schedules, costs, risks, and scope changes
Maintain project documentation (drawings, logs, as‑builts, records)
Coordinate with field crews and subcontractors to support safety, quality, and schedule adherence
Assist with planning meetings, site activities, and safety compliance
Qualifications
Required
Experience in construction, utilities, or field‑based roles
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
Strong problem‑solving, communication, and organizational skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Preferred
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
Level: Intermediate

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Wayne, IN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
