Crane Aerospace and Electronics has an exciting opportunity for an Manintenance Technician II at our Fort Walton Beach, Florida location.
This is a day shift position.

Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician II will install, maintain, and repair plant infrastructure, utility systems, and production equipment with minimal supervision. The following responsibilities are typical of what this position may be required to perform, however they are not all inclusive.
Essential Functions:
Installs, maintains, and repairs electrical wiring to provide power and lighting for all plant and building operations
Installs, maintains, and repairs all required plumbing systems to support plant and building operations
Installs, maintains, and repairs plant equipment, pumps, and motors to meet manufacturer’s specifications and plant standards
Performs general facility maintenance to include flooring, sheet rock, painting, boiler and air conditioning systems, and general interior building maintenance
Performs general exterior maintenance to include building upkeep and repairs, parking lot maintenance, and lawn and landscaping upkeep
General record keeping and filing
May be required to do other duties such as delivery and pick up of tools and equipment, furniture, assembly and moving, and the like
Works with hazardous materials such as paints and solvents to include storage and shipment
May be required to specialize in areas such as HVAC systems, fire alarm, security and phone systems
Any other task assigned by supervisor or management
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience: 2-4 years of experience in industrial maintenance. Previous HVAC experience required.
Knowledge: Training in the electrical & mechanical trades.
Skills/Abilities: Must be able to interpret and have working knowledge of schematics & blue prints. Must have experience with hazardous waste storage and handling.
Education/Certification: High School diploma or equivalent required.
Eligibility Requirement: This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government. Additionally, as a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Applicants selected could be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet the eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Preferred Qualifications:
Formal training in electrical and Mechanical trades preferred
EPA Certification preferred
Working Conditions:
Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment
Manufacturing operations may require the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: eye safety glasses, gowning, masks, hearing protectors, heel/wrist straps and any other required PPE
May be exposed to unusual environmental conditions such as loud noises, cold temperatures, confined spaces, dust or fumes
Flexible and willing to work overtime if necessary
Standing: 75% *percentage is approximate and may vary depending on work task
Sitting: 25% *percentage is approximate and may vary depending on work task
Lifting (in pounds): up to 70 pounds
Pushing (in pounds): up to 70 pounds
Mental/Visual: Use of tools and maintenance equipment
Workspace (line, cube, etc): throughout facility
