Description

Ready to work on infrastructure that truly matters? Lee County Utilities is seeking a Wellfield Project Manager who enjoys solving technical challenges, working in the field and the office, and helping deliver safe, reliable drinking water to the community.

This role sits at the intersection of engineering, hydrogeology, operations, and project management. You’ll support the planning, operation, and maintenance of critical groundwater systems—production wells, monitoring wells, injection wells, and Aquifer Storage and Recovery (ASR) systems while collaborating with engineers, geologists, contractors, and regulators.

This isn’t a desk-only job. It’s hands-on, technical, and impactful.

  • Protect Public Water Supply: Your work supports the systems that deliver safe, dependable water every day.

  • Blend Field & Technical Work: Balance data analysis, inspections, and project coordination with real-world infrastructure.

  • Make an Impact: Your decisions influence system performance, regulatory compliance, and long-term sustainability.

  • Review design and construction plans, specifications, and technical reports

  • Communicate effectively with internal staff, contractors, and regulatory agencies
