Principal Accountabilities
Ensure safe operation of utilities and refrigeration systems by applying knowledge of Hazmat, Emergency Response (ER), and Process Safety Management (PSM) requirements
Maintain the reliability and safe performance of ammonia refrigeration, boiler systems, and other highly hazardous industrial processes
Ensure accurate documentation, planning, and execution of maintenance tasks by effectively using computers and the facility’s computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
Support equipment reliability and predictive maintenance programs by utilizing PdM technologies such as infrared (IR), ultrasonic (UE), vibration analysis (VA), and oil analysis (OA)
Maintain system functionality by applying technical knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, electrical systems, and mechanical components during maintenance and troubleshooting activities
Required Qualifications
Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
Must be 18 years or older
Ability to read, write, and speak English
High school diploma or GED
1-2 years of industrial refrigeration experience in an industrial environment
Experience using computers and a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
Ability to work overtime, weekends, and cover shifts before or after scheduled work
Prior experience working in a Process Safety Management (PSM)–regulated ammonia refrigeration or hazardous process environment
Must successfully complete a Pulmonary Function Test
