Robert Half ERP Ops Manager in Fort Mill, South Carolina

Description We are looking for an experienced ERP Operations Manager to join our team in Fort Mill, South Carolina. This is a contract-to-permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity to lead ERP support functions and contribute to the enhancement of data-driven strategies within our organization. The role requires a hands-on approach, strong leadership skills, and the ability to foster structure and improvements in end-user experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee ERP operations, ensuring consistent support and seamless functionality across all systems.

• Manage and mentor a team of two direct reports, with plans to expand the team by adding an ERP lead.

• Lead efforts to improve the structure and efficiency of ERP support, focusing on enhancing the end-user experience.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and implement solutions that align with organizational goals.

• Act as a change agent, driving initiatives to modernize ERP processes and data management practices.

• Utilize tools such as MySQL, Power BI, and data analytics to support strategic projects, including data warehousing.

• Ensure timely resolution of system issues while maintaining a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvements.

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

• Work onsite five days a week to provide hands-on leadership and support to the team.

• Maintain alignment with organizational objectives by managing resources and priorities effectively. Requirements • Proven experience managing ERP systems in a manufacturing or similar environment.

• Strong background in creating and interpreting Business Requirement Documents (BRDs).

• Demonstrated expertise in change management and driving organizational improvements.

• Proficiency in MySQL and data analytics tools such as Power BI.

• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a small to mid-sized team environment.

• Previous experience managing direct reports and fostering team growth.

• Ability to work onsite and thrive in a dynamic, hands-on setting.
