Job Description
Work Shift: Mon – Fri, 1100-1900hr
We are currently hiring a TS/SCI Cleared Sr. System Administrator to work onsite at Ft. Meade, MD in support of the daily operation and sustainment of DISA's networks. This individual will work in a mixed Windows/Linux server environment and act as the SME on all VDI-related issues and needs. He/she will provide support for ticket escalation on major outages, handling Tier 3 support. Additional responsibilities include providing input with development partners to ensure customers understand emerging needs and technological advancements, standing up new enclaves as needed, maintaining SOPs, and coaching lower-level technical staff.
Compensation: $57/hr. - $64.90/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Additionally, employees in this role will have access to paid sick leave and other paid time off benefits as required under the applicable law of the worksite location.

Skills and Requirements
• Bachelor's degree and/or 12+ years of overall related experience with a Windows/Linux server environment. Additional experience, education and training may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Windows, Linux, and Solaris Server experience with an expertise in at least one.
• Extensive experience working with virtual environments using VMware and VDI practices
• Currently possess an active Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI is required for this position.
• Currently possess DoD 8570 certification at least IAT level II, e.g. Security+ CE • Integration of cyber security tools and systems with network performance, trouble ticketing, and security subsystems highly desired.
• Candidates with a thorough knowledge of networking principles to included TCP/IP a plus.
• Experience with a ticketing system such as ServiceNow
• ITIL v3 Foundation certified
