Role Overview
• This role centers on proactive monitoring, incident response, and break/fix support for enterprise Oracle and Linux database environments.
• The ideal candidate brings strong hands on experience, understands how databases behave under real world workloads, and can quickly diagnose issues before they impact availability or performance.

Key Responsibilities
• Monitor Oracle databases and Linux systems for performance, availability, capacity, and security events.
• Respond to incidents by identifying root causes, performing break/fix actions, and restoring service quickly.
• Analyze database behavior to detect anomalies, performance degradation, or early signs of failure.
• Manage routine operational tasks, including patching, backups, log reviews, and health checks.
• Collaborate with application teams to understand workload patterns and ensure database stability.
• Document procedures, incident resolutions, and environment changes to support operational continuity.
• Participate in on call rotations for critical production support.
