B & M Concrete, Inc. seeks Concrete Flatwork Laborer in Fort Lupton, Colorado.
Job Description: Set forms that hold concrete the desired pitch and depth and align them. Check forms that hold concrete to see that they are properly constructed. Spread, level, and smooth concrete, using rake, shovel, hand or power trowel, hand or power screed, and float. Monitor how wind, heat, or cold affect the curing of the concrete throughout the entire process. Produce rough concrete surface using broom. Mold expansion joints and edges using edging tools, jointers, and straightedge. Clean chipped area using wire brush, feel and observe surface to determine if it is rough or uneven. Signal truck driver to position truck to facilitate pouring concrete and move chute to direct concrete on forms.
Position starts and ends day at company location in Fort Lupton, Colorado and requires work at various customer locations within commuting distance of Fort Lupton, CO, and within Weld County (Colorado).
Variable shifts may be required from 7 am to 6 pm Monday through Sunday. Overtime may be required depending on workload.
