BluePearl Veterinary Technician - Rehab in Fort Lauderdale, Florida
BluePearl Pet Hospital is now hiring for an energetic, passionate, and driven Rehabilitation Veterinary Technician to join our team.
Schedule (Tentative): Tuesday-Friday
Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 / hour
This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency leveling system.
We develop relationships with patients and clients through our therapeutic programs that grow over weeks and months and may last years as we work to maintain or restore the best quality of life for our patients.
As a BluePearl Rehabilitation Technician , you will:
Work under the supervision of our practitioners to perform and implement the designated rehabilitation therapy plan.
Provide nursing care to patients.
Utilize technical skills.
Communicate withclients andtoassistthe veterinary practitioner as needed.
Assistin the recovery and management ofour injured,debilitated,and post-surgical patients.
Aid in daily complete digital medical record keeping and documentation asappropriate.
Assistintherapeutic exercises.
Restraint during ultrasound or TENS treatment, underwater treadmill therapy.
Patient and room prepandclient education
Take andrecord digital notes during rehab sessions and consultations/rechecks
other duties asrequired.
We are searching for a Veterinary Technician who...
Holds a current CCRP certification
Has a High School Diploma/GED.
Experience working in veterinary medicine
Canlift upto 50lbs
Be able to work on the floor, crawl, grasp objects,reachand squat.
