Position Overview:

The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling small electrostatic discharger components in a clean, organized manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on role where you will use hand tools and follow clear work instructions to build parts step-by-step while meeting established quality standards. We are seeking someone with prior assembly experience who enjoys working with their hands, pays close attention to detail, and takes pride in producing consistent, high-quality work. Responsibilities:
Assemble small parts according to blueprints and detailed work instructions
Use tools, jigs, and fixtures to handle and assemble components
Operate ovens and work with adhesives, epoxies, and chemicals in accordance with safety guidelines
Support a team-oriented environment by cross-training and assisting in other production areas as needed
Demonstrate company values through consistent, high-quality work
Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Comply with all DG safety procedures and policies as directed by the Facility Engineer/Safety Director
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum 1 year of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and detailed work instructions
Strong fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination for use of hand tools and small components
Basic computer skills
Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Willingness and ability to learn new procedures and processes
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have, Not Required):
- Prior aerospace manufacturing experience
