The Electromechanical Assembler (Soldering & Bonding) is responsible for assembling small electronic components in a clean, structured manufacturing environment. This hands-on role requires experience with precision soldering as well as mixing, applying, and curing epoxies and adhesives using fixturing and oven processes. You will follow detailed work instructions and technical drawings to build components that meet strict aerospace quality standards. We are seeking someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with both electrical assembly and bonding processes.
Responsibilities:
Assemble and solder small electrical components according to work instructions and technical drawings
Perform electrical splicing tasks
Mix, apply, and cure epoxies and adhesives using taping, fixturing, and oven processes
Inspect and clean components before and after assembly to ensure quality standards are met
Operate hand tools, soldering irons, and basic measuring/testing equipment
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Comply with all DG safety procedures and policies as directed by the Facility Engineer/Safety Director
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment
Minimum 1 year of hands-on soldering experience with small, detailed components
Experience mixing and working with epoxies, resins, or adhesives
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions
Willingness and ability to learn new procedures and processes
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Basic Computer Skills
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have, Not Required):
- Prior aerospace manufacturing experience
