Aerotek Avionics Technician in Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Job Title: Avionics Technician

Job Description

Perform maintenance and repair on a variety of aircraft in compliance with specific manufacturers and FAA guidelines and regulations. Adhere to company policies and procedures while troubleshooting electrical malfunctions on aircraft avionics systems.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct maintenance and repair on corporate business jets.

  • Comply with FAA and manufacturer guidelines and regulations.

  • Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions on avionics systems.

  • Install avionics, including Starlink and GOGO systems.

  • Perform electrical repairs and harness installations.

  • Utilize Gulfstream experience for troubleshooting and repair tasks.

Essential Skills

  • 2-4 years of experience on corporate jets for Tech Level II.

  • 7+ years of experience on corporate jets for Tech Level III.

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing avionics systems.

  • Experience with avionics installation and electrical repair.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with corporate business jets.

  • Familiarity with Starlink and GOGO installations.

  • Ability to work in a hangar environment.

Work Environment

Work within a hangar environment with hours of operation from Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm, with overtime offered. Dress code is suitable for a hangar setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $48.00/hr.
