Description
We’re working with a well-established multinational organization to hire a high-impact Assistant Controller to join their dynamic finance team. This is a key role that supports consolidated global financial reporting, oversees core accounting operations, and collaborates across multiple international entities.
? Must-Have Experience:
✅ Multi-currency accounting
✅ Intercompany eliminations
✅ Corporate consolidations across global entities
? What You’ll Do:
Assist in the monthly close, journal entries, reconciliations, and consolidation of financials
Highly involved in the global consolidation process, ensuring accuracy in intercompany eliminations and multi-currency transactions
Analyze financial data across multiple subsidiaries
Prepare monthly/quarterly reporting packages (KPIs, budget vs. actuals, footnotes, etc.)
Collaborate with auditors and external consultants on audit and tax matters
Ensure compliance with IFRS/US GAAP and revenue recognition principles
Optimize ERP and reporting system configurations (Workday experience a plus)
Drive ongoing process improvements and documentation within the accounting function
Oversight of 2 accountants/bookkeepers
Support ad hoc financial analyses and cross-functional projects
? What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field
8+ years of accounting experience
Proven experience with multi-currency consolidations and intercompany transactions
Strong understanding of international financial reporting and consolidations
Detail-oriented and tech-savvy with Excel and ERP/reporting tools
Effective communicator, especially when working across time zones and cultures
Able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Requirements • Proven experience in managing month-end close processes and general ledger maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of intercompany eliminations, consolidations, and multi-currency transactions.
• Familiarity with financial reporting standards and audit requirements, including DCAA compliance.
• Proficiency in financial systems such as Workday and QuickBooks Platinum.
• Exceptional communication skills in English; proficiency in a second language is a plus.
• Ability to manage and mentor direct reports effectively.
• Experience in preparing and analyzing financial reporting packages.
• Patience and cultural awareness when working with international teams.
