Actalent Facilities Engineer in Fort Dodge, Iowa
Description
The Facilities Engineer manages and maintains the plant’s buildings, equipment, and utility systems to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations. This role leads facility improvement projects from concept through completion, develops cost estimates, implements cost‑reduction initiatives, and supports long‑term facility planning. The engineer works closely with maintenance teams and contractors to support preventive maintenance programs, infrastructure upgrades, and continuous improvement efforts across the manufacturing facility.

Engineering degree required, preferring Mechanical Engineering 2+ years with 2D AutoCAD, and 3D modeling software (Solidworks or Inventor) Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Preferred experience in a manufacturing plant environment Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and OSHA standards Experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and construction systems

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
