About the role
As a CBRE Cleaning Supervisor, you willsupervise the staff responsible for ensuring a clean, orderly, and safeenvironment for employees and clients.
This job leads all aspects of the cleanlinessof the client buildings.
This is an onsite role in Ft. Dodge, IA and thehours are approximately 4pm-12:30am Monday-Friday.
What you’ll do
Coordinate and lead the team's dailyactivities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks and cross-train staff.
Schedule daily staff meetings and requiredin-service training sessions.
Check cleaning equipment condition. Ordercleaning supplies as needed. Ensure supplies are in a safe, secure area always.
Coordinate and collaborate closely with clientsand employees. to handle complaints and feedback.
Advise the team of requests and confirmcompletion. Inspect work done by cleaners and submit daily cleanliness reports.
Initiate regular training on procedures for theuse of chemical cleaners.
Ensure standardized cleaning process meetscompany standards.
Provide daily cleaning support to private areasof the building designated as needed.
Resolve problems and identify appropriateapproaches to existing solutions to accomplish team objectives.
May establish new techniques to ensure the teamis able to meet its objectives.
Has a direct impact on the team objectives aswell as the objectives of related teams.
Responsible for performance management anddevelopment of team members.
Ensure personal and team outcomes have apositive impact on customer objectives.
Model behaviors that are consistent with CBRERISE values. Guide team through the application of basic knowledge of practicesand procedures. Works to build consensus.
What you’ll need
High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience with 5+ years of job-related experience. Prior shift manager or supervisory experience required.
Fulfill the physical requirements associated with this role. This includes stooping, standing, walking, and climbing stairs. Must be able to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
Understanding of operational Health, Safety & Environment requirements – risk assessments, control of chemicals, PPE etc.
Ability to explain complex concepts or critical information.
Experienced knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills with an inquisitive mentality.
Ability to calculate figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.
