Aerotek Maintenance Technician in Fort Collins, Colorado
Seeking Skilled Maintenance Technicians I, II & III in Windsor - (Evening/Night Shift)
Shift: Wednesday–Saturday | 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM (Every other Wednesday off)
Pay Rate:
Technician I - $23.80-$25.80/hour
Technician II - $28-$30/hour
Technician III - $33-$35/hour
Shift Differential: $4.50/hour
Environment: Cleanroom / GMP-regulated
The Maintenance Technician plays a key role in supporting and leading Maintenance Technician I staff while ensuring all process equipment and machinery operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with FDA and cGMP standards. This role supports equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, installations, and continuous improvement while collaborating closely with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Management teams.
This position offers clear growth opportunities from Maintenance Tech I through Tech III, Senior Maintenance, or management roles.
Key Responsibilities
Train, coach, and support Maintenance Technician I staff on equipment operation, setup, and repairs
Train production and maintenance employees on proper equipment use, cleaning, and maintenance
Maintain accurate training and compliance documentation per FDA, cGMP, and SOP requirements
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on process equipment and machinery
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, boiler, and PLC-controlled systems
Recommend and implement improvements to enhance equipment reliability and performance
Install new equipment and assist Engineering with equipment layout and process design
Maintain spare parts inventory and requisition supplies as needed
Participate in hazardous waste training and respond to chemical spills when required
Work in a cleanroom environment requiring gowning and de-gowning
Collaborate with Quality, Production, Engineering, and outside contractors
Required Skills & Experience
Manufacturing or production maintenance experience
Strong mechanical maintenance and preventive maintenance experience
Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial equipment
Experience working under GMP, FDA, and SOP standards
Knowledge of refrigeration systems, boilers, and PLC troubleshooting
Ability to work nights and stand for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in regulated industries (pharma, medical device, food, or beverage)
Electrical troubleshooting experience
Welding and machining skills
High mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
Strong computer skills (Word, Excel)
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
