Job Description
Position Summary:
The Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Colorado State University seeks applications for temporary Adjunct Instructor positions who are interested in obtaining non-tenure track teaching positions within the department. Instruction may be in didactic as well as laboratory courses. Annual terms and reappointment may depend on performance and/or the continued availability of funding. The department provides instruction of both undergraduate and graduate students.

The successful candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States by the proposed start date; the Department has limited funds and may not sponsor a new H1B visa for this position.
Salary Range:
$46,000 - $90,000

Essential Job Duties:
Essential job duties may include:
Prepare and deliver undergraduate and/or graduate courses in accordance with department curriculum and university standards.
Evaluate student performance, and hold office hours to provide timely feedback to support student learning and success.
Collaborating with faculty, staff, graduate students, and other research personnel.
Comply with departmental, college, and university policies related to instruction, academic integrity, and student conduct.
Conditions of Employment:
Pre-employment criminal background check (required for new hires).
Supervision:
This position reports to the Department Chair of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A master’s degree in an appropriate discipline is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience teaching large sections of courses is preferred.
